Estrella del Chimborazo

Originally, our first building, the Chimborazo Hut, was what is now the Estrella of Chimborazo restaurant.  It was our base camp and the center of all our activities.  In lieu of cabins and suites, we had tents for our guests, and the hut gave us shelter to gather around the warmth of the fireplace and rest from the daily activities.

Over the years we built the cabins, and lately the suites, to be able to offer better accomodations to our guests, as well as restaurant services to those who come to visit us just for the day.

We have capacity for 40 people in a comfortable dinning room, where we serve national and international food diligently and carefully prepared for our clients.

While having their meals our guests can enjoy the most amazing view of the Chimborazo from a panoramic window.  The name of our restaurant is “Estrella del Chimborazo” which is the name of a hummingbird that is endemic to the area of Chimborazo and that we have adopted as one of our emblem.
